Hardware Requirements
The audit policy function is supported by all models.
License Requirements
The audit policy function is content security component license-controlled. For details about the license control scopes, see the License Control Items.
Component package Requirements
To use the audit policy function, you need to load the content security component package. For details about the component package, see Dynamic Loading.
Limitations
- Only audit administrators can configure audit functions and query audit logs.
- Audit logs can be queried and exported on the web UI only when the device supports hard disk installation and the hard disk is in position. For details, see Audit Logs. For the device that does not support hard disks, you can specify a log server to view and analyze logs.
- Audit policies support IPv4 and IPv6.
- Mail behavior audit supports only SMTP, IMAP, and POP3, but not Web Mail.
- If you want the device to audit HTTPS traffic, configure SSL-encrypted traffic detection. For details, see SSL-Encrypted Traffic Detection.
Precautions
On networks with different forward and return packet paths, the audit log contents may be incomplete.
