Enabling the Log Function

If traffic matches a traffic policy and the traffic volume exceeds the thresholds specified in the traffic profile after you enable bandwidth management logging, the bandwidth management module will generate packet discarding logs and output the logs to the information center.

Prerequisites

You have completed Configuring the Output of System Logs.

Procedure

In the system view, enable the bandwidth management logging function globally.
traffic-policy discard packet log enable
Optional: Specify the interval for sending packet discarding logs based on a traffic policy.
traffic-policy discard packet log interval interval
Access the traffic profile view.
profile profile-name
Enable log sending for the current traffic profile.
