The cluster track bfd-session command configures the cluster to track BFD sessions.
The undo cluster track bfd-session command disables the cluster from tracking BFD sessions.
cluster track bfd-session local-discr-value [ weight weight-value ]
undo cluster track bfd-session local-discr-value
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| local-discr-value | Specifies the local discriminator of a BFD session. |
The value must be the local discriminator of an existing BFD session. |
| weight weight-value | Specifies the weight. |
The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 10. The default value is 1. The health rating reduction value = weight * fault deduction. |
By default, the cluster service group does not track BFD sessions.
Prerequisites
Before running this command, create BFD sessions and configure local and remote discriminators.
Configuration Impact
After the cluster is configured to track a BFD session, if the BFD session is down, the device health degree decreases, triggering the master/backup switchover in the service group.
