The cluster track ip-link command configures the cluster to track IP-links.
The undo cluster track ip-link command disables the cluster from tracking IP-links.
cluster track ip-link ip-link-name [ weight weight-value ]
undo cluster track ip-link ip-link-name
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| ip-link-name | Specifies the name of an IP link. |
The IP-link name must exist on the device. |
| weight weight-value | Specifies the weight. |
The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 10. The default value is 1. The health rating reduction value = weight * fault deduction. |
By default, the cluster does not track interfaces.
Prerequisites
Before running this command, create an IP-link.
Configuration Impact
After the cluster is configured to track an IP-link, if the IP-link is down, the device health rating decreases, triggering the master/backup switchover in the business group.
