cluster track ip-link

Function

The cluster track ip-link command configures the cluster to track IP-links.

The undo cluster track ip-link command disables the cluster from tracking IP-links.

Format

cluster track ip-link ip-link-name [ weight weight-value ]

undo cluster track ip-link ip-link-name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
ip-link-name

Specifies the name of an IP link.

The IP-link name must exist on the device.

weight weight-value

Specifies the weight.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 10. The default value is 1. The health rating reduction value = weight * fault deduction.

Usage Guidelines

By default, the cluster does not track interfaces.

Prerequisites

Before running this command, create an IP-link.

Configuration Impact

After the cluster is configured to track an IP-link, if the IP-link is down, the device health rating decreases, triggering the master/backup switchover in the business group.
