The dialer timer autodial command configures the interval for DCC to dial automatically.
The undo dialer timer autodial command restores the default interval.
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| seconds | Specifies the interval for the call in seconds. | The value ranges from 10 to 604800 in seconds. |
Before configuring the dialer timer autodial command, run the dialer enable-circular command to enable Circular DCC.
By default, the interval for DCC to dial automatically is 30 seconds.
This command must be used along with the keyword autodial in the dialer route command. After this command is configured, DCC will automatically attempt to dial once every period of time specified by the parameter seconds until a connection is established. Auto-dial does not require packets for triggering, and it will not automatically disconnect due to idle timeout once a connection has been established. In other words, the configuration of the dialer timer idle command is invalid for it.
