Usage Guidelines

The IPv4 prefix length indicates that the high-order bits of prefix-length are deleted from the source IPv4 address of the tunnel and other bits form a part of the 6RD prefix. The 6RD delegated prefix can be calculated by combining the 6RD prefix and the IPv4 prefix length.

This command is available only when the tunnel encapsulation mode is set to 6RD. Configure the tunnel-protocol 6rd command firstly.

Example

# Set the IPv4 prefix length for the 6RD tunnel to 8.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] interface tunnel 1
[sysname-Tunnel1] tunnel-protocol ipv6-ipv4 6rd
[sysname-Tunnel1] ipv4-prefix length 8
