ipv6-prefix

Function

The ipv6-prefix command specifies the IPv6 prefix and IPv6 prefix length of the 6RD tunnel.

The undo ipv6-prefix command deletes the IPv6 prefix and IPv6 prefix length of the 6RD tunnel.

Format

ipv6-prefix ipv6-prefix/ipv6-prefix-length

undo ipv6-prefix

Usage Guidelines

The 6RD prefix, also called the IPv6 address prefix of the carrier. The 6RD delegated prefix is calculated by the 6RD prefix and IPv4 prefix length. After produced, the 6RD delegated prefix assign IPv6 address prefixes to devices or hosts.

This command is available only when the tunnel encapsulation mode is set to 6RD. Configure the tunnel-protocol 6rd command first.

Example

# Set the IPv6 prefix and prefix length for the 6RD tunnel to 2001::1/32.
