This section describes the mail filtering configuration flow.
The mail filtering features to be enabled on the FW vary depending on your actual requirements. Table 1 lists the procedure for configuring all the mail filtering functions.

Configuring Anti-Spam Based on the IP Address of the SMTP Server | If the FW serves as the security gateway for a server farm, you can enable the anti-spam and anonymous mail check functions to protect the mail server from junk and anonymous email. |

If the FW serves as the security gateway of an enterprise network, to prevent data leaks, you can enable the mail address check function to permit or deny outgoing email based on email addresses and the email permission of the addresses, and enable mail attachment control function to filter outgoing email. |
